Whitton Baptist Church - What’s On

Sundays

We meet at 10:30am and 6:30pm.

What to expect? Our services last for about 1¼ to 1½ hours. During that time we sing, pray, and most of all listen as the Bible is read and explained. We try to explain everything that happens so hopefully it won’t be too bewildering if you’re not used to church. And don’t worry, you won’t be asked to do anything embarrassing – we promise! Twice a month, we share communion together. This is a special time for those who love and trust Jesus as their saviour. If you’re not quite sure where you stand on that one, we encourage you to sit and watch, but not to actually take part in that part of our service.

Mostly, there’s a lot of milling around and chatting over tea and coffee after each service for those who want to. But everyone will understand if you have to dash off!

Life Groups

Our Life Groups are a great way to learn to live out the Jesus-life together. We meet to talk, pray, eat, play, encourage, read, worship, study the Bible and drink coffee! There are several groups that meet, each with a different “flavour” to them. All-in-all, something for everyone who wants to know God and people better!
